ShubhJani.

I build the software you keep meaning to hire someone to build.

I lead engineering at Fero.AI in the UAE, where my team builds an AI platform that a large regional customer uses to run its freight and customs operations. On the side I run an online electronics store for the European market, and I take on a few projects a year for founders who need real software built, not another landing page.

Fero.AI

AVP, Ports Vertical

  • Lead engineer on a large platform a major regional customer uses to run its freight and customs operations. 110+ tables, 211+ APIs across five codebases including Rust services, live on the customer's own servers.
  • Head of the technical roadmap across a portfolio of enterprise projects in logistics, ports, and document automation.
  • Five direct reports across engineering and analysis. I decide what done looks like. The team decides how to get there.

Independent

Engineer and operator

  • Run an online electronics store for the European market from end to end.
  • Around seventy features live in production: loyalty, gift cards, referrals, A/B testing, abandoned cart flows, automated emails, multi-language and multi-currency checkout.
  • Storefront on Next.js. Backend on Medusa with eleven custom modules. Stripe for payments, Meilisearch for search, Postgres for data.

02What I build

Here is what I can build for you.

How engagements work→

03How we work together

Six things to expect if we do a project together. This is the deal, up front.

  1. 01

You get me, not a team of juniors

The person you talk to writes the code. No middlemen. No account manager who bounces your questions to someone you have not met.

  2. 02

    Weekly demos, not weekly excuses

Every Friday you see what shipped. On a real URL you can click. Progress stops being a status report.

  3. 03

    Fixed scope, fixed price

I quote by outcome, not by hour. You know the price and the date before we start. No mystery invoices.

  4. 04

You own everything from day one

Code, credentials, documentation, everything. In your accounts, on your machines. Not at the end of the project. From the start.

  5. 05

    One thing at a time

I finish your project before I pick up the next one. If I say your slot is in July, your slot is in July.

  6. 06

I will tell you if the idea is wrong

Before you pay for it, not after. You are hiring me for judgement as much as for code. The honest answer is part of the deal.
